Executive Home Care is thrilled to be the first in-home care provider in the nation to work with Toi Labs. They have developed a smart toilet seat that monitors the health of our clients around the clock. It can detect the onset of illness and disease and is exclusive to assisted living facilities in Connecticut. This is given COMPLIMENTARILY, at no additional cost, as part of our clients’ care plans.
Ensuring Senior Safety and Care with TrueLoo®
The TrueLoo® toilet seat functions similarly to a standard toilet seat. All you need to do is sit down and use it like a regular toilet seat. TrueLoo® differs from standard toilet seats in that it uses innovative designs and technologies to provide an extra layer of hygiene. It has robust sensing devices, such as weight sensors and infrared technology to detect the user’s temperature, among other things. When someone sits on it, the system automatically activates to clean itself using powerful UV light beams, ozone gas, and even water to effectively kill germs on the surface.
From the user’s perspective, the entire process occurs without disruption or changes in behavior, ensuring maximum convenience and efficiency while preventing the spread of germs and infections caused by microbes on both surfaces. Furthermore, users do not need to touch anything else after finishing their business; there is no need for flushing because each cycle includes an auto flush for complete sanitization. TrueLoo® offers a secure, sanitary sanitation solution that ensures peace of mind.
Customized Care with TrueLoo®
Notification protocols are critical in providing timely interventions when health parameters such as changes in bowel and bladder patterns are identified. Executive Home Care receives daily and weekly reports. If anomalies are detected, we will immediately call the family and/or physician and a printout of data will be forwarded to the family/physicians. Such measures help to ensure that appropriate care is provided when needed and can help reduce the risk of further complications developing over time.
Ideally, notification protocols should involve a multi-tiered approach that involves both team members inside the facility as well as family members or designated advocates outside of it. This helps to facilitate immediate involvement when needed while streamlining communication within the larger healthcare teams looking after the patient’s needs. By leveraging notification protocols, Executive Home Care can ensure that any changes in a resident’s typical bowel and bladder patterns do not get ignored and receive the attention they warrant for their wellbeing.
