Chris Slack is the Owner/Operator of Executive Home Care of Newtown PA. A long-time resident of Bucks County with deep family ties that date to the American Revolution, Chris is deeply committed to serving his community, where he lives with his wife and three children. His personal dedication to senior care stems from time spent with his grandparents while growing up in Charleston, WV. During high school and college, he helped care for his grandparents, one of whom was in the early stages of dementia. This care was supplemented with in-home support. Experiencing firsthand the peace of mind that compassionate care can bring to families inspired Chris to provide this same high standard of care for others’ loved ones.
Chris brings a blend of expertise and dedication to Executive Home Care of Newtown. His career spans +25 years where he has worked in various industries which saw him progress to the level of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Over his career, Chris has worked with the US Navy and US Airforce as well as Emergency Medical Services providers where he demonstrated his commitment to delivering high-quality products and services against rigorous standards of which he now applies to the care of seniors in his community. Chris’s extensive background in customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance has also shaped his approach to building trustworthy relationships with families—a cornerstone of his mission in senior care.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from West Virginia University and held a license as a Certified Public Accountant. He has applied his operational expertise to implement a rigorous caregiver selection process, ensuring that only the most qualified, ethical, and compassionate professionals provide care to his clients. Additionally, he has established regular feedback systems to keep client and family voices at the center of service enhancements.
Chris takes a family-centric approach to care, collaborating closely with family members to tailor individualized care plans. He believes in maintaining open communication on each client’s progress, working as a partner to families to give them peace of mind that their loved one is in good hands.
Chris has spent over 12 years volunteering in his community, including as President of Basketball Operations for the Central Bucks Athletic Association, serving more than 1,000 families, and currently as President of the CB East Boys Basketball Booster Club. He has also contributed to causes such as the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, Girl Scouts of America, and Coaches vs. Cancer, reflecting his dedication to community service and connection.
