Ryan McBroom and Megan Rearden
Owners of Executive Home Care of Manassas, VA
Meet Ryan McBroom, a professional with a unique blend of athletic experience and academic expertise in exercise and movement. A graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Exercise Psychology, Ryan focuses on the emotional benefits of exercise and the connection between physical and mental well-being. After 11 years playing professional baseball, including a Major League debut with the Kansas City Royals in 2019 and two years in Hiroshima, Japan, Ryan gained a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and people. Now, Ryan is channeling his passion for helping others into the in-home care space, inspired by his family’s experiences with caretakers. He’s dedicated to creating a warm, supportive environment for those in need. Joining him is his girlfriend Megan, a University of South Carolina graduate with a background in real estate.
Megan has traveled with Ryan throughout his baseball career, gaining a broader understanding of different cultures and communities. Megan’s personal experiences with both of her grandmothers in assisted living and memory care homes deeply impacted her. She witnessed firsthand the emotional and physical decline they both faced after leaving their homes, which fueled her commitment to improving the quality of life for others in similar situations. Together, Ryan and Megan are starting a new in-home care venture, committed to providing both physical care and emotional
support to improve lives.
